NEWS RELEASE
OPP INVITED BY GOVERNMENT TO BECOME A LICENCED JOB PLACEMENT PROVIDER
As you know, the Department of Employment & Workplace Relations is responsible for Centrelink. As part
of that responsibility, they tender out the majority of their job placement work to suitable organisations
across Australia ; both in capital city and regional locations. Successful Tenderers (such as The Salvation
Army) were granted 3 year Licences expiring in 2006.
I am delighted to announce that, in July 2005, the Department of Employment & Workplace Relations directly
approached OPP and invited us to become one of their approved Job Placement Licence holders; even
though we had never previously considered tendering for such a Licence.
What does this all mean?
Well, for OPP, it is a huge pat on the back for the work we have done (and continue to do) providing
employment OPPortunities to people throughout Australia .
For Employers, it opens up the possibility of obtaining top quality staff at even lower rates than ever before.
So, if you are considering the need to add more people to your team, call us now............the OPPtions
are even better than before!
